This guide explains the process to create and verify your channel alias address on the BNB Chain, allowing your channel to communicate effectively with subscribers on this blockchain.

Setting Up Channel Alias for the BNB Chain (Prerequisite): Before proceeding, please ensure that you have successfully created a channel and provided the correct BNB Chain address as the alias address during the channel creation process. If you haven't created your channel yet, please refer to the channel creation guide and set up your channel with the correct alias address.

Channel Verification on Alias Network: Alias verification is a crucial step to confirm that the alias address provided during channel creation indeed belongs to the channel owner. Successful verification is required before a channel owner can use the alias address to communicate with subscribers on the BNB Chain.

Step-by-Step Guide to Alias Verification:

1. Switch to BNB Chain Network:

• Ensure that you have added the BNB Chain network to your MetaMask. If you haven't done so, you can refer to the guide on how to add the BNB Chain to your MetaMask.

2. Log into the Dapp:

• Log into the Dapp using the same Ethereum address that was provided as the Alias Address during channel creation.

3. Access Create Channel Menu:

• Navigate to the Create Channel menu in the Dapp's sidebar.

4. Verify Alias Address:

• Click on the "Verify Alias Address" button within the Create Channel menu.

5. Approve the Transaction:

• You will be prompted to approve a transaction required for Alias Verification on the BNB Chain.

• Confirm and approve this transaction.

6. Completion:

• Once the transaction is approved, your alias address is successfully verified on the BNB Chain.

• It is now linked with your channel on the Ethereum Chain.

7. Sending Notifications from the BNB Chain:

• With the alias address verified, you can now access your channel profile page and send notifications from the BNB Chain using your alias address. This allows you to notify your users on the BNB Chain effectively.
